Automatic data top-up

Pick a line, pick a bundle, pick how low it has to get. When it drops past that point we buy the same bundle again — and you approve every single charge with a MoMo prompt on the phone.

How it works

1. Choose the line

Yours or someone else's — parents, a partner, a shop phone. Any Ghanaian number we sell data for.

2. Choose the bundle

Any bundle from the catalogue. The same one is re-bought each time, at the same live price.

3. Set the trigger

How low the line has to fall before we act — for example 10% left. You can change or cancel it whenever you like.

4. Approve the prompt

When it fires you get a MoMo prompt on the phone. Approve with your PIN and the data delivers. Ignore it and nothing is charged.

No silent wallet debits. Every automatic top-up sends a Mobile Money prompt that has to be approved with a PIN. If it is not approved, nothing is charged and nothing is delivered.

What it is for

Running out of data at the wrong moment is the whole problem this solves. We track each bundle you have bought from us, watch how it is being used, and prompt you when a line is running low — then re-buy it if you have opted in. It is the same order pipeline as a manual purchase: the same payment gateway, the same float checks, the same automatic retry and refund-arrangement process if a delivery fails.

You can also track and top up other people's lines from your own account. When a line you look after runs low you get the prompt, and opting in for somebody else always asks you to confirm explicitly that the data goes to them, not to you — so it can never quietly drain your wallet onto another line.

Payment goes through Valmont-Pay — MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AT Money or card. We never see or store your MoMo PIN: you approve every charge on your own phone.

A free Valmont Data account is required to place an order. It takes a minute (name, phone, email and a 4-digit PIN) and it is what lets you save numbers, track orders, use auto top-up and earn referral credit.

Which bundle should reload?

Auto top-up re-buys one bundle, so pick the size the line actually uses between top-ups. MTN bundles are non-expiry, which suits a line that uses data slowly — the reloaded megabytes just stack up. The best per-GB price in our catalogue is Telecel 50GB at GH₵3.60 per GB.

Questions people ask before buying

Will auto top-up take money without asking?

No. Every automatic top-up sends a Mobile Money prompt to the phone, and the charge only goes through if it is approved with a PIN. If nobody approves it, nothing is charged and no data is sent.

Can I set it up for somebody else's line?

Yes. You can track and top up other people's lines from your account. Opting in for another line always asks you to confirm that the data goes to them, not to you.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the auto-reload page. Cancelling stops future top-ups; it does not touch bundles already delivered.

Do I need an account?

A free Valmont Data account is required to place an order. It takes a minute (name, phone, email and a 4-digit PIN) and it is what lets you save numbers, track orders, use auto top-up and earn referral credit.

Which bundles can reload?

Any bundle in the catalogue — 24 of them across MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo, from GH₵4.00 to GH₵405.00.

What if an automatic top-up fails to deliver?

If a delivery fails we retry it automatically (up to three attempts). If it still cannot complete after payment, we mark the order Refund being arranged, arrange a return of the payment to its original method, and confirm when that refund is completed. Wrong numbers are not refundable — check the line before you pay.
